Denise Tatum
LCSW-S, C-SOPT

Denise Tatum obtained her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and her second Bachelor’s in Childhood and Family Studies from Kansas State University. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from University of Southern California in 2016. Denise hopes to grow her private practice and bring more mental health awareness to urban and high-risk communities. Denise is passionate about working with parents of adolescents and youth. She is also passionate about understanding the impact of trauma, generational cycles and family patterns. Denise has an extensive background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Informed Therapy. She also has experience with anxiety and depression as well as Family and Couples Therapy. In her spare time, Denise enjoys spending time with her family and working out.

LATONYA ROBINSON
MSW, Supervisee in Social work

LaTonya M. Robinson is a highly skilled and dedicated professional with a strong background in social work, health services administration, and counseling. She has her Master's in Social Work from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Virginia Union University. She brings a wealth of experience in providing intensive in-home counseling, therapeutic day treatment, and care coordination services. She also showcases her proficiency in coordinating outside services, offering psycho-educational and crisis de-escalation services, and implementing person-centered individual service plans. She had excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as her ability to deliver therapeutic services to children and families in various settings. With a strong foundation in social work, health services administration, and counseling, she is well-equipped to contribute to community enhancement and well-being.

JERALD ALLSBROOKS, JR

Jerald Allsbrooks, Jr is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. He is known for his empathetic approach, helping clients develop coping strategies, build resilience, and foster positive changes in their lives. Wether working with individuals, couples, families, or groups, Jerald is dedicated to empowering clients to overcome obstacles, improving their emotional well-being, and living fulfilling lives. Jerald earned a Bachelor of Art in Sociology followed by a Master of Science in Counselor Education both from Virginia State University, where he honed his skills in cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques, In his professional practice, Jerald adopts a client-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. He has expertise in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and stress management. As a firm believer in ongoing professional development, Jerald stays abreast of the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field of mental health.

JESSICA JAMES
MSW, Supervisee in Social Work

Jessica James graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018. In 2022, Jessica obtained her Master of Social Work degree, and is currently under supervision to become a licensed clinical social worker. Jessica has experience working with adults and youth. She has worked in various mental health settings and roles to include: residential treatment, mental health skill building, crisis intervention and mobile crisis, and community based mental health. Jessica utilizes a person centered and strengths-based approach in her work with clients, and will provide a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking therapy.

Tomeka Booker

​Tomeka Booker earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Union University and pursued a Master of Social Work degree at Walden University. She is currently working toward obtaining her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Tomeka has held various roles, including Intensive In-Home Counselor, Intake Specialist, Children and Adolescent Case Manager, and Foster Care Case Manager. Her extensive background reflects her deep commitment to supporting individuals and families on their healing journeys.Tomeka is passionate about early intervention and believes that addressing trauma in children, adolescents, and families at an early stage can prevent long-term challenges. In her practice, she integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Family Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Techniques to promote emotional growth and resilience.
All residents and supervisees are under direct supervision of a state-approved licensed provider and cannot operate independently.
